In honor of Earth Day (on April 22), celebrate by taking the family to enjoy a day of fun activities that showcase the amazing planet we live on. Various locations throughout the metro area are hosting special events, with Earth-themed activities and plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty.

Party for the Planet

Celebrate the planet with a family fun day at CU South Denver. Plant seeds, make art with recycled materials, play music, dissect plants under microscopes, and enjoy other activities.

Earth Day Celebration

Join Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus for a fun-filled celebration. Enjoy activities throughout the exhibits that focus on Earth. The first 500 families will receive a shower timer, courtesy of Denver Water.

Earth Day Tree Planting

Pangea Organics and One Tree Planted are teaming up to re-forest 100 acres of burn area in Boulder’s Fourmile Canyon. Volunteer to help plant 20,000 native trees, and enjoy a picnic lunch provided by Whole Foods Market and an after-party at Shine Restaurant.
