Treat Yourself to a Little Me Time with a Yoga and Beer Class

Reward your asanas with ales at these Denver metro area breweries (and wineries).

Yoga is a way to relax and refocus after a tough day or busy week of parenting. In Denver it’s also a chance to enjoy delicious craft beers and wines because many breweries around the metro area offer yoga classes on a regular basis. So grab your mat and your mom friends for a pose and a pint. A little beer or vino afterward might even persuade the spouse to join you as well.

Apres Yoga

Apres Yoga is an organization with yoga instructors that travel to various breweries around the metro area offering fun and easy yoga classes combined with beer. These events are held on weekends, with each brewery offering one class a month through September. Classes begin between 10 and 11 a.m., and cost $17 per person in advance and $20 at the door. Each ticket includes one free pint at the brewery. Classes begin June 3 and breweries include Alpine Dog, Crazy Mountain, and Jagged Mountain in Denver, Lone Tree Brewing, and Joyride Brewing in Sloan’s Lake. There are also classes at Devil’s Head Distillery in South Denver that includes a free cocktail. Visit the Apres Yoga website to register and to view class schedules and locations.
