Dinner theater is cool at Denver’s only all-age appropriate playhouse featuring interactive mysteries written just for preteens. When it comes to birthday shows, the guest of honor picks a kid-friendly mystery: Steampunk Murder, Zombie Murder or Mystery Mansion, for example. Art Garage

At this crafty nonprofit, tweens get messy while creating unique art projects under the auspices of a local practicing artist. Parties start at $50 per hour, with added fees per guest based on the art activity, which could be anything from ceramics to junk sculpture to canvas collage.
