Facilitated by third nature therapy team Daniela Miranda and Julie Goldberg, this group will bring young people together to discuss race, privilege, and justice in America. It’s open to all teenage female-identifying folks from across the country. The hope is to lay the foundation of anti-racism work, while committing to the lifelong process of justice work.
Miranda and Goldberg will offer prompts meant to deepen group members’ understanding of racism, white privilege, and feminism, and also create weekly journaling prompts for group members to reflect on throughout the week and bring back to the group the following week. To accommodate busy schedules, the workshop will be offered twice.
Donations collected from participants will go to the Loveland Foundation, which gives financial assistance to Black women and girls seeking therapy. No member will be turned away for lack of funds.
