In this two-part series for middle and high schoolers, participants will learn the “how to’s” of wheat paste art and work with mentor artist, Kristina Maldonado Bad Hand, to create a mural project in the RiNo Art District. Student facilitators from the Youth Celebrate Diversity organization will join in brainstorming ways to transform social justice and inclusion conversations into provocative visual arts. Students will have the choice of an in-person or virtual planning session, and will install the mural in-person on April 23; lunch provided!
