From breakfast with the Easter Bunny to a mountainside hunt featuring 65,000 eggs, these Easter weekend festivities will leave kids hopping for joy.

1.Bunny Bolt 5K/10K

2.Bunny Trail

Where: Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus

3.Bunny Express Train

Where: Colorado Railroad Museum

Why: Visit the museum and hop aboard the Bunny Express Train, enjoy fun activities and collect candy from the Easter Bunny and Spike the Railyard Hound.

4.Majestic View’sEgg-Tacular

Where: Majestic View Nature Center

When: March 26; 11am-noon

Why: Learn about eggs and the animals that lay them at this egg-citing event, plus kids can decorate an egg to take home and partake in an egg hunt.

5.Free Community Glow Hunt

Why: Kids can hunt for glow-in-the-dark eggs and enjoy cookie decorating, face painting, balloon animals and bounce houses.

6.The Great Egg Scramble

7.Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

8.Easter Sunrise Service

Where: Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Why: The venue and views at this free Easter service simply can’t be beat! Arrive early, around 5am to grab a good spot to sit and worship.

Where: Downtown Aquarium
