4 Places Where Kids Get Cooking

 •

Children’s Museum of Denver Marsico Campus

Little ones and their parents can explore cooking through the classes held in the Children’s Museum of Denver’s Teaching Kitchen each day. Participants of all ages step up to the kid-sized counter, use age-appropriate tools and fresh ingredients and learn a simple recipe. Daily classes are included with admission, and a sign- up sheet is posted outside the Kitchen each morning. 2121 Children’s Museum Drive, Denver. 303-433-7444

Centered Cooking + Dance Studio

Dianne Morin teaches kids healthy eating, kitchen safety and cooking fundamentals through her cooking classes, and incorporates dance exercise to show them how to keep their bodies fit. In the classes, everyone tastes the ingredients and the final meal, and learns how food supports the human body. She also offers an event that teaches sports teams and parents how to create snacks and meals for athletes. 1050 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Unit P, Lakewood. 720-519-1962
