Donating Breast Milk

Breast milk is filled with so many nutrients that aid in a baby’s growth and development. It is an essential part of their diet and a beautiful aspect of how a woman’s body is able to support and nurture life. It is especially important for preterm babies, so look to donate that extra breast milk as it can help sick babies in need! For more information on how you can do this, contact your local Mother’s Milk Bank. You will need to go through a brief application process. This process can include a brief phone interview, an information packet to be completed, and a blood screening. This is just to make sure the donated milk is safe for the babies to consume. If you have more questions or concerns, visit the Mothers Milk Bank!
