What We Learned: Everything Family 2021

Things that inspired this issue, and what our editors discovered along the way.

Each new year dawns with a fresh batch of mysteries, and 2021 is definitely full of question marks. We assembled this latest edition of our Everything Family guide during the fall of 2020 with cases of COVID-19 on the rise again and restrictions limiting access to many in-person activities. But there was also renewed optimism for the year to come. Although things may still look different in 2021, we wanted to share all the amazing activities, organizations, and businesses available to families in the Denver area.

With that in mind, you will find this issue filled with everything from amusement parks and birthing centers to respite services and museums. We’ve included information about what you can typically find at these locations, but, as we’ve grown accustomed to saying, be sure to check in before you visit. We’ve also squeezed in four of our favorite family hikes—one for each season of the year.

Keep this guide handy and you will always have pages of helpful resources and ideas for family fun at your fingertips, no matter where 2021 takes you.
