Family Foodie Fun for Halloween

Check out these 9 Halloween specials and family activities at Denver area restaurants.

There’s plenty of Halloween fun going on for Colorado families. Some of that fun involves hitting the restaurant scene for tasty seasonal food, family activities, and Halloween specials. Dressing up with the kids might even get you a freebie. Here’s what a few places in the Denver-area are offering.

Oct. 30, 9am-2:30pmAdults in costume get 10 percent off their meal. Kids receive a free pumpkin to carve and will automatically be entered into a jack-o’-lantern contest. The full brunch menu, including kids meals will be available. Del Frisco’s Grille Cherry Creek Get Presidential Burgers

Kids with political aspirations, who come in dressed like either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump get their candidate’s namesake burger for free. “The Donald” is a beef cheeseburger with a gold leaf bun. “The Hillary” lamb burger is wrapped in classified paper. Kids in regular costumes get a candy treat.

Oct. 28-31 Kids age 15 and under, in costume, who come in with their parents, receive 50 percent off their donut purchases. Special Halloween-themed donuts include the Booberry with a blueberry glaze and a cream-cheese frosting ghost popping up in the center. Through October 31 Bring the kids to IHOP for a boo-tiful breakfast with strawberries, whipped topping, mini cookies and candy corn. On October 31, between 7am and 10pm, kids age 12 and under get a free Scary Face Pancake.

Oct. 22, 2-5pm. Enjoy “I-Scream” flavors of the season, including Pumpkin Chip, Trick or Treat, Vegan Pumpkin Chai, and Chocolate Pecan Pie, while competing for Spookiest, Most Original, and Cutest jack-o’-lantern carving and costume contests.

Oct. 30, 10am-3pm

Come in wearing a costume and receive free beignets. There will also be drawings for a free happy hour party for 10.

Through Oct. 31 Pick up a special pizza to bake up at home, in the shape of a jack-o’-lantern, with a pepperoni nose and smile and black olive eyes. Each pizza costs $8. Also, because October is National Pizza Month, from Oct. 24 through Nov 1, guests are encouraged to snap a selfie with the Jack-O’-Lantern pizza using the hashtag #JackoSelfie to be entered to win one of four $25 gift cards.
