National Ice Cream Day

Here’s the scoop on National Ice Cream Day deals in Denver on July 21.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated the third Sunday in July National Ice Cream Day. Celebrate this year by enjoying a creamy, cold treat with these sweet deals happening around town.

Steuben’s

Both Steuben’s locations—Arvada and Uptown—will dish up ice cream flights for $3 on July 21. Each ice cream flight is served with three flavors and waffle cone chips. Choose from Steuben’s four flavors of the day that are made in-house. Two locations in metro Denver.

Little Man Ice Cream

To celebrate, Little Man is rolling out their Passport to Happiness and a special contest. Starting July 21, pick up a passport from any Little Man location—Little Man Ice Cream, Sweet Cooie’s, Old Town Churn, The Constellation, Little Man Ice Cream Factory. Through Labor Day, fill the passport with stamps from four of the five locations, then drop off the stamped passport at any Little Man shop by closing time on September 2. Little Man will select one winner to receive free ice cream for a year. Five locations in metro Denver.

High Point Creamery

Families can win five pints of High Point Creamery ice cream through High Point’s National Ice Cream Day Instagram giveaway in collaboration with Choice Market.

Sweet Action Ice Cream

Serving up small batches with flavors that change daily, Sweet Action’s Broadway shop will have Allegro Coffee’s minivan set up to make cold brew and affogato espressos. 52 Broadway, Denver.

Milkbox Ice Creamery

Union Station’s go-to spot for ice cream, Milkbox is offering customers 25 percent off all day on July 21. Milkbox serves up tasty scoops from Little Man Ice Cream, meaning families can enjoy their stellar ice cream and explore LoDo. 1701 Wynkoop St., Denver.

Spanky’s Roadhouse

To commemorate the day, Spanky is treating grownups with a free shot of Baileys, bourbon, tequila, rum, or vodka to their adult milkshakes. They’ll also let kids concoct their own milkshake with 21 ingredient options. Just in time for summer, Spanky’s new peach cobbler milkshake infuses the taste of Colorado peaches with vanilla ice cream, whole milk, and caramel, and topped with whipped cream and streusel crumble. 1800 E Evans Ave., Denver.
