Sesame Street Pop-Up Tour Comes to Denver

Find out where you can spend the afternoon with Elmo, Abby, and Dani!

Your little tykes have a chance to meet some of their friends from America’s favorite street. That’s right, Elmo and his buddies are coming to Denver during Sesame Street’s 10-city “F is for Friends” tour. Join Elmo, Abby, and host Dani on April 14 at Southwest Plaza in Littleton for an afternoon of fun.

“I grew up with Elmo, and Sesame Street has been on TV for almost 50 years,”, says Denise, who plays host Dani in the tour. “Sesame Street was part of my childhood, and now it’s a part of my daughter’s life growing [up], and it’ll continue to be a part of peoples’ lives. Even if we speak a different language, or eat different foods, or have different color skin, we can all be friends and Sesame Street has always had that message. We love celebrating that.”

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and features three 15-minute shows. Elmo and Abby sing and dance during the show, while talking about friendship and respecting others. The afternoon also includes a storytime (where one of the crew members reads books to families), free photo ops with Abby and Elmo, interactive iPad stations with games, coloring tables, and a library area.
